ELBA Autumn Meetings Haddington Town Hall 7.30pm

As usual time is racing by and Autumn is here, or rather a lovely Indian Summer - long may it last.  There is a warm feeling, coming from beekeepers I have spoken to, about this summer - busy, lots of activity (ie swarms), strong colonies and plenty of honey.  (This is the first year my bees have produced enough honey to take plenty off and leave them plenty for the winter).
This brings me to the program of events for the Autumn/Winter seasons.
Thursday 18th September - John Coyle is coming to speak about 'What to do with your Bees in Autumn'.
Thursday 2nd October - Joint SBA lecture tour with EMBA.
Thursday 20th November - tbc
Thursday 4th December - Christmas meal at The Victoria Inn, Haddington.
All meetings are open to aspiring beekeepers, beginners, and old hands.  If you are not an ELBA member yet but want to come to our meetings membership is only £5 and can be paid on the night.
I look forward to seeing lots of people at our first meeting on 18th September (an auspicious date maybe)!
Many thanks
